Nostalgia at its best, SMOKIE return to Australia for the Greatest Hits Tour in February 2027. Smokie’s Greatest Hits Tour will celebrate the band’s incredible catalogue, featuring all the classics fans know and love — including “Lay Back in the Arms of Someone”, “Needles and Pins”, “I’ll Meet You at Midnight”, “Oh Carol” and, of course, the worldwide smash “Living Next Door to Alice” which has sold more than 10 million copies globally. Their enduring popularity in Australia is undeniable, with Smokie’s All the Best compilation selling an incredible 230,000 copies locally.

A glance at the Guinness Book of Hit Singles might suggest that Smokie’s success was purely a 1970s phenomenon — and with seven Australian Top 20 hits during that decade, it’s easy to see why. Their sound blends irresistible, hook-filled songs with distinctive soft-rock harmonies, proudly influenced by the classic American sound.
