The ultimate Sydney Film Festival experience is to lose yourself in a movie at the magnificent State Theatre with a selection of premieres and award-winning films.
Now in its 64th year, Sydney Film Festival is one of the world’s longest-running film festivals, and is a major event on the New South Wales cultural calendar.
The 12-day Festival screens feature films, documentaries, short films and animation from around the world in venues across the city including the State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Opera Quays, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne, Dendy Newtown, and the Skyline Drive-In Blacktown.
SFF also takes place at Apple Store Sydney and SFFTV @ Martin Place. The Sydney Film Festival Hub at Town Hall features exhibitions, talks, entertainment, a discount ticket booth and more.

*Concession: Concessions are available to full-time students, pensioners, unemployed and seniors. Concession cards must be shown at the box office on request.
**Seniors: must present valid Seniors Card for sessions on the weekdays, before 6pm at the State Theatre.
