The State Theatre, designed as the "Palace of Dreams", has
for over 75 years been at the centre of Sydney's social and
cultural community. We are privileged to be custodians of
this unique building and we genuinely welcome visitors to
take the opportunity to view its sublime interiors.
Highlights include The Butterfly Room, The Koh-I-Nor
Chandelier, The Dress Circle Art Gallery, The Grand Assembly,
The Gothic Hall and The Mezzanine Lounge.

Bookings
The
State Theatre is pleased to conduct personally guided tours
of the Theatre for school or social groups. Our highly knowledgeable
staff are able to offer a true insight into the design and
working operation of the theatre.
Groups are required to be a minimum of 15 people.
All guided tours are required to pre-book with the Operations Manager.
