Tickets for all State Theatre and Ticketmaster events and performances are available from Ticketmaster.

The Ticketmaster office, located in the main entrance to the theatre is open from
9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00pm on performance nights.

Car Parking

Secure Parking (Kings) offers State Theatre patrons discounted parking rates at 383 Kent Street car park, located between King and Market Streets. Please note that car parking tickets must be validated by the State Theatre to be eligible for the discount.

This discount is only available to patrons on the day of the performance attended and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Parking is subject to normal terms and conditions as displayed throughout the carpark and parking is subject to availability.

Disabled Seating

The State Theatre has a number of positions available for disabled and wheelchair bookings. These seats are situated in the Mezzanine Level and can be only booked by contacting the State Theatre direct on 02 9267 3234.

Unfortunately due to heritage restrictions the State Theatre currently has no hearing loop facilities.

The Theatre does provide full disabled toilet facilities. To access these facilities, please inform any staff member who will be happy to escort any patrons.






Food & Beverage Facilities

Patrons have a choice of 5 bars, one located on each level. Bars offer a full range of beers, wines and spirits whilst the candy bar on the ground floor offers a selection of sweets and snack foods. All food and beverage facilities are open approximately one hour prior to performance and during intervals.

Nestled beneath the State Theatre is Sydney's stylish new venue, Statement. Incorporating Statement Bar and Statement Lounge, the sleek modern design is perfectly complemented by boutique beverages, contemporary cocktails and State style tapas. Intertwining ambient background music with fresh and funky sounds, Statement evokes a relaxed atmosphere that is the ideal setting for your next event or perfect place to have a drink after work and meet up with friends and colleagues.






Cloakroom

A free cloakroom service, located on the ground floor. This service is available approximately one hour prior to and thirty minutes post performance.






Credit Cards & ATM Facilities

American Express, Bankcard, Visa, Mastercard and Diners Card are all accepted at The State Theatre Box Office.

The State Theatre does not have ATM or EFTPOS facilities, although several ATM machines are located in very close proximity.

Theatre bars accept cash only.

Late Arrivals

Late comers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
