The Grand
Assembly is accessed via the theatre’s
main entrance and flows into a large atrium space
flanked
by grand
marble staircases, which leads up to the Dress
Circle vestibule
and gallery. Located on the ground floor and
regularly used
for feature film production, this remarkable and
historic
space is characterised by a lavish mirrored dome and
uniquely
ornate fixtures and fittings.
